"THE OSBOURNES" To Hit Non-Cable TV In Canada
June 13, 2002The Osbournes, the reality sitcom about former BLACK SABBATH frontman Ozzy Osbourne and his colorful family life, currently available to Canadian viewers only via digital cable or satellite dishes, will now have a home on the CTV network, which will air the second season of the popular MTV-produced reality series.
According to a press release from CTV, the station "has acquired the Canadian conventional broadcast rights to seasons one and two of The Osbournes, television's hottest new, next-generation comedy."
CTV president of programming Susanne Boyce added: "The Osbournes are outrageous. They're compelling. They're original and they're hilarious. They're TV's newest nuclear family and television may never be the same."
